Proprietary standards

Articles like this are funny. I love it when HP talks about running on their "standards-based" servers. Is that their proprietary Microsoft standard, the proprietary Intel Archiecture (Itanium), their proprietary PA-RISC architecture, or their proprietary HP-UX software? They do sell both Intel and AMD x86 platforms so maybe that's what they're talking about. But if you really want a fast x86 box, come check out the Sun's line of X64 servers. So if you like a bit of fiction, check out the lastest news from HP below.

Upward Basketball Rocks!

My kids are playing in Upward basketball this year. What an awesome way to learn to play the game and enjoy a fine sport. If you're kids aren't playing Upward basketball then they're missing out on something extremely special. Read some of the letters if you want to get a feel for what it's like.
